This is a senior role requiring deep technical expertise, excellent team management, and a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset. The ideal candidate will be both a practitioner and a people leader, motivated by great design, technical rigor, and mentorship.
As a Senior Architect, you’ll perform as a project architect alongside a talented group of architects and designers working on meaningful healthcare and public sector projects. You’ll have the opportunity to drive design excellence, support staff development, and deliver impactful work for our clients and communities.
What you’ll be responsible for :
- Lead and oversee architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline requirements are consistently met
- Review and critique design work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Work with Project Managers to establish design parameters consistent with the project scope, schedule and budget
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and offer practical solutions to keep projects on track
- Perform field investigations as required to determine project scope
- Maintain a general understanding of a building's structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection / life safety, and telecommunications systems; align these systems with architectural designs
Qualifications :
10+ years’ experience in design / architectureBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in ArchitectureArchitectural license requiredHealthcare project experience preferredExperience with preparing contract documents (Drawings and Specs)Experience in successfully leading architectural teams and delivering projects of varying scale and complexity.Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.Experience with Revit and Bluebeam.What we Offer :
