Arthrex is actively searching for a Manager - Engineering to support the Imaging & Resection team. This individual will be responsible for planning and directing the engineering activities of the Imaging and Resection team. They will also coordinate the full product lifecycle of medical devices to achieve company goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manages the engineering department work activities to provide timely and efficient flow of services and projects
• Maintains a leading edge understanding of the orthopedic industry, customers, and competitors in order to find new and novel opportunities to grow the business and reduce cost
• Hires, develops, and retains the best talent for the engineering team and the organization
• Assesses new technology and new product ideas for technical and economic feasibility
• Evaluates and develops improved techniques for the control of product development activities
• Develops and oversees the development of budgets and timelines for new product projects
• Leads multifunctional new product project teams through the project lifecycle, adhering closely to project timeline and budget
• Reports progress and status of projects on a timely basis with emphasis on reporting results
• Provides engineering advice and assistance to other departments as required
• Up to 20% travel required
