Bulk Operations Manager
The Bulk Operations Manager will report to Director of Bulk Supply and assist in all aspects of the physical fuel operations associated with above the rack / bulk transactions. This can include but is not limited to pipeline and terminal scheduling for all products (fuel and renewables), logistics portals management (loading instructions / issues troubleshooting), transaction details tracking and distribution, invoice validations and miscellaneous reconciliations. The position will effectively be the liaison between commercial trading team and back / middle office. Applicant should be organized and able to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Pipeline scheduling
- Communicate timing of supply movements at head of pipe and destinations with pipeline, terminal, and counterparty operators
- Manage nominations, linespace prorations, and product delivery within the operations portals
- Kinder Morgan West (CCI, TMS6, TOPHAT)
- Magellan Central (SWIFT)
- Magellan South (SWIFT)
- Colonial (Transport 4)
- Future to include Explorer, Buckeye, Nustar
- Rail Scheduling
- Manage nominations for delivered rail cars to various terminals
- Acquire freight quotes and shipping instructions for any FOB transactions
- Terminal Scheduling
- Set up loading numbers, troubleshoot system loading issues
- Schedule ethanol receipts and deliveries via truck, rail, ITT
- Run lifting and BOL reports via DTN TABS or other portals as needed for position balancing, contract compliance, or reporting needs
- Manage terminal inventories for physical constraints, forecasting, and reconciliations
- Trade support
- Assist with deal entry into ETRM system for accruals / forward obligations
- Update bulk transaction tracker with final volumes, pricing, operational terms for invoice validations
- Validate month end inventory positions between terminals, rail yards, and back office for timely accounting period close
- Assist in ad-hoc trade-finance needs (invoice instructions, collections, approvals)
- Work with Middle Office and IT to help portfolio structure mapping and organization for new ETRM implementation
Required / Preferred Education & Experience :
Required Experience :Minimum associate's degree in any of the following : business, supply chain, analytics, accounting, economics, management, mathematics, finance or similar fieldsPreferred Experience :Refined Products operations experience (pipeline, terminal, water, rail etc)Trade Assistant / Analytics experience (deal entry, position management, QC)Excellent communication and negotiation skillsLeadership competenciesStrong financial management skills including modeling & analysisStrong organizational skillsEligible for company benefits including :

This position operates in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing duties of this job, you will be regularly required to talk, read, hear, sit, stand, bend as necessary, and use your hands to type; may regularly require the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
