Description
Payroll & Benefits Coordinator at WMH Solutions is responsible for accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance across multiple locations. This role supports the CFO, Finance, and Recruiting teams and serves employees across 11 branch locations in six states. It requires high organization, attention to detail, and discretion to protect confidential information.

Key Responsibilities
- Payroll execution : Manage full-cycle, multi-state payroll on a bi-weekly schedule. Process deductions, garnishments, taxes, adjustments, and direct deposits. Maintain clean and compliant payroll records. Assist with W-2s and year-end processes.
- Administration & Benefits : Oversee benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations. Support employees during open enrollment and benefit inquiries. Perform employee onboarding. Maintain records and vendor communications. Ensure accurate benefit records.
- Compliance & Support : Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll and benefits laws. Partner with HR / Recruitment, Accounting, and Leadership. Handle employee questions with discretion and professionalism. Provide timely reporting to the CFO and leadership. Assist external auditors on annual 401(k) audits.
Education, Experience & Skills
Education : High School Diploma or GED required.Experience : 3+ years of direct payroll and benefits administration; multi-state payroll experience preferred.Customer Focus : Ability to deliver exceptional service, build relationships, and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess issues and implement solutions.Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team Collaboration : Experience working cross-functionally with technicians, service / parts, sales, and leadership.Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel; comfortable with data accuracy.Confidentiality & Integrity : Commitment to protecting sensitive information and accuracy.Work Ethic & Drive : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering excellence.Attention to Detail : Precision and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Perks & Benefits
