Work Schedule

Shift Details : Monday to Friday

Standard Hours : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Coverage Needed : Full-time (average of 11 patients per day)

Orientation : 4 hours of non-billable orientation

Patient Population

Age Group : Adults (ages 18 and older); no complex geriatric patients

Average Daily Census : 11 beds

Department Services : Includes 5150 services with approximately 7.5% admission rate

Work Environment

Practice Setting : Hospital-based adult inpatient psychiatry

EMR System : Epic

Bed Size : 11 beds

Compensation and Benefits

Overtime Rate : 1.5x the normal rate after 40 hours per week

Holiday Rate : 1.5x the normal rate for holidays

Job Requirements

Board Certification : Required (BC / BE with ABMS or AOA)

State License : Minnesota license required (IMLC accepted)

Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years in psychiatry is preferred

Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 60 days

Additional Information

COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required as per facility guidelines

Flu Vaccine : Unknown status regarding requirements
