Production Scheduler
The Detailed Production Scheduler is responsible for short-term production sequencing and scheduling at the plant level, ensuring alignment with supply and operations execution (S&OE) priorities. This role focuses on the execution horizon, translating tactical plans into feasible production schedules by product-location, and coordinating across planning, materials, and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include :
- Evaluate feasibility of requested changes from S&OE, checking capacity and non-ATP components in collaboration with the Material Scheduler.
- Create detailed capacity plans for short-term production scheduling.
- Manage F&P Overlabels by scheduling parent materials at the manufacturing site and child materials at the warehouse.
- Review and incorporate unhealthy inventory into the production schedule where applicable.
Additionally :
Monitor actual production against the schedule; escalate delays to the Production Planner, DRP, and Material Scheduler for proactive resolution.Update SAP S / 4HANA to reflect real-time changes in the production schedule.Convert Planned Orders to Process Orders for non-REM plants.Monitor Planned Orders for REM plants to ensure execution readiness.Lead weekly LST (Local Scheduling Team) meetings :
Prepare and present proposed production schedules for review and confirmation.Finalize schedules based on S&OE exceptions and operational constraints.Discuss reworked plans, including unhealthy inventory and unplanned downtime.Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making at the plant level.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.35 years of experience in production scheduling or supply planning in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in SAP S / 4HANA PP / DS and familiarity with SAP IBP OBP principles.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to lead cross-functional meetings and manage multiple priorities under pressure.Preferred skills :
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.Experience with synchronized planning and Smart Data Integration (SDI).Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for scheduling and supply analysis.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.Benefits How We'll Support You :
