GENERAL SUMMARY :

Assists the BPN Revenue Cycle Manager in follow up and rounding with the BPN Practice Managers to ensure support is maintained to the highest standards between BPN Central Business Office and Operations of the BPN clinics.

Acts as the point of contact for the Practice Managers within BPN. Assists Practice Managers in translating Revenue Cycle functions like billing, coding, cash posting and follow-up when questions arise and patient complaints are made.

Responsible for understanding Practice Managers requests and working with the Central Business Office staff, leaders or manager to get answers and communicate back to the Practice Managers in a way they understand.

Must be extremely organized and diligent in getting answers and communicating back to the Practice Managers and BPN Leadership.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Assists the BPN Revenue Cycle Manager in follow up and rounding with the BPN Practice Managers to ensure support is maintained to the highest standards between BPN Central Business Office and Operations of the BPN clinics.

3. *Acts as the point of contact for the Practice Managers within BPN.

4. *Assists Practice Managers in translating Revenue Cycle functions like billing, coding, cash posting and follow-up when questions arise and patient complaints are made.

5. *Collaborates with Practice Managers to resolve Patient issues.

6. *Collaborates with Practice Managers and BPN Leadership to provide necessary information regarding concerns and ongoing operations of the clinics

7. Collaborates with appropriate management to support the interactions between clinic operations and the central business office.

8. Collaborates with appropriate management to develop, implement new charges, process and onboard clinics that become part of Bryan Physician Network.

9. Assists Revenue Cycle Manager in verifies the accuracy of dashboards and reports requested by Operations and run by the BPN Revenue Cycle Analyst.

10. Recommends additional information needed by the Practice Managers to be included on their operational dashboards.

11. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

12. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.

13. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

1. Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications (Microsoft Office, etc.) relevant to work functions.

2. Skill in organization and communication.

3. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

4. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.

5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel, medical staff, volunteer and ancillary departments.

6. Ability to build, attract and develop a strong team between the Central Business Office and the Operational Clinics, performance and quality with consistent support.

7. Ability to develop written policies, procedures, workflows and effective communication throughout the medical and health system in connection with the BPN Leaderships.

8. Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.

9. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.

10. Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.

11. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required. Minimum of five years experience working with physician billing services preferred.

Minimum of three years working indirectly with Physician Operations preferred.
