Join a dynamic team as a Quality Control Manager overseeing a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project. This exciting role involves managing a 13,000 square foot new construction project that includes working directly with steel and concrete. As a key player, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee quality control for a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project.
• Manage construction activities involving steel and concrete.
• Ensure compliance with USACE and NAVFAC standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
• Implement safety standards in accordance with OSHA30.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety objectives are met.

Work Environment :

The work environment is set in a government NAVFAC at Norfolk Naval. The position requires comfort with working outdoors and adapting to the unique conditions of a naval base. The role involves collaboration with joint ventures and working in a team-focused atmosphere.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $51.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
