AOA Xinetics (AOX), a Northrop Grumman Space Systems Division Business Unit, is a leading supplier of complex electro-optic and photonic systems and subsystems that control and manipulate light waves for a variety of applications. We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager 1 to support our Special Programs team in East Hartford, CT.
Reporting to the Director of Mission Assurance for Mission Enabling Products, the Quality Engineering Manager will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Control Technicians in our Special Programs group. They are responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality policies, and procedures to ensure all delivered products are delivered to the customer on schedule, on cost, and fully compliant to all contractual requirements. The position is responsible for the review and approval of suppliers and subsequent interfacing with suppliers to resolve nonconformance. The position is responsible for reviewing quality inspection processes, working with operations on schedule completions, assisting with customer audits, reviewing bids and proposals, and providing advice and support to Program Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments.

Primary Level Salary Range : $107,300.00 - $160,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
