- JOB SUMMARY :
Providing diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for mental health services utilizing case management, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic intervention.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :Provide psychotherapy and counseling for individuals with mental health and dual disorders. Provides services such as, but not limited to psychotherapy, skills training, supportive therapy, stress managementDemonstrate clinical competency in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalitiesConduct diagnostic evaluations with patients using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and determines the appropriate level of care according to their clinical needsDetermine the urgency of a patients needs and renders the appropriate course of therapeutic actionsAssess treatment and prevention of mental disorders. Provides information and resources to members with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders.Participate in collaborative consultations with physicians and other interdisciplinary clinical team members to support assessments, treatment planning, and decision makingUtilize the best practices in delivery of behavioral health services in accordance with professional and clinical guidelinesMaintain accurate and correct electronic documentation of therapy and prepares reports and letters when necessaryParticipate in clinical team meetings, departmental planning, and quality management activitiesComply with organizational, departmental, state / federal guidelines, and all regulatory office policies and proceduresAdhere to all mandated guidelines for patients clinical careEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS :Qualified Candidate must either be LCSW, LPCC with billable NPIDegree must be from an accredited college or universityBilingual (English / Spanish) preferredAt least 1 year of counseling background preferredLICENSES :LCSW / LPCC Licensure as required by the State of New JerseyBillable NPI required at hireIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through effective therapy and support, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
