Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering practice.

In this role, you will lead testing efforts across a variety of systems and ensure that our digital solutions are reliable, scalable, and defect-free.

Your contributions will help transform our clients' businesses through world-class automation and quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Overall Test Management :

  • Oversee test management processes, traceability matrix development, and provide consistent test status reporting.

Test Automation :

  • Design, develop, and execute test automation frameworks and suites. Evaluate and maintain both manual and automated test cases.

    • Performance Testing :

  • Conduct load and stress testing using enterprise-level tools.

    • Results Analysis :

  • Analyze test results and produce detailed test reports.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, architectural discussions, and system design meetings. Serve as the automation lead for other QA engineers.
  • Manage and maintain test environments, including physical, virtualized, and simulated configurations.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues involving multiple software components.
  • Assist in reviewing unit test code coverage and conduct reviews throughout test cycles.
  • Manage the entire defect lifecycle from identification through retesting and closure.

    • Automation Framework Customization :

  • Customize automation frameworks to meet client-specific requirements.

    • Testing Strategies :

  • Plan and implement comprehensive testing strategies and automation infrastructure for large-scale systems.

    • Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured (Java) or REST Sharp (.NET).
  • 5+ years of experience in designing functional and end-to-end test cases.
  • 4+ years of experience using test automation tools (e.g., Selenium / Cucumber with Java or C#).
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation with AMQ, WMQ, Kafka, Couchbase, and Google Cloud Platform Services (GCPS).
  • 3+ years of experience with container platforms like OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and related frameworks like Cucumber.
  • 3+ years of experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or ReadyAPI (LoadUI).

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with performance testing tools.
  • Experience setting up Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines.
  • Proficiency in both UI and API automation.
  • Deep understanding of test planning, framework design, and iterative development.
  • Strong background in messaging systems (e.g., AMQ, WMQ, Kafka).
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile automation testing.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Curious, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration within fast-paced environments.
