Bluffton, OH, US

The initial job function is to support experienced Proposal Engineers to learn how to develop machine / equipment concepts and prices. Mechanical aptitude with automotive components is a must. Within two years, we expect this individual to grow into the primary function of reviewing and evaluating inquiries independently and to develop comprehensive and competitive engineering proposals in the preparation of commercial quotes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide support to Proposal Engineers
Generate AutoCAD layouts and NX proof of concept designs
Detailed system overview presentations
Cycle time studies
Pricing development of proposals
Coordination of quotation documents
Correspondence with customers

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Ability to comprehend 2-D drawings

Proficient use of AutoCAD (2020 and higher)

Knowledge of mechanical design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Knowledge of NX is a plus

General Requirements

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong math skills and understanding of mechanics

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Willing to work overtime as needed

Willing to travel domestic and international
