Associate Director Collaborative Initiatives
The Center for Student Formation is seeking an Associate Director for Collaborative Initiatives to lead in the planning, budgeting, and execution of university-wide collaborative efforts sponsored by the Center for Student Formation. The Center advances the mission of Boston College by engaging students, faculty, and staff in understanding and practicing the goal of student formation that is one of the central elements in Jesuit education. Along with the Executive Director, this position will support the new and ongoing projects that the Center establishes with other units across Boston College. In addition to collaboration across the University, the position will oversee the Freshman League male engagement program. In this role, the Associate Director will have direct supervision of 80 upperclassmen who support a larger group of 320 first-year male students. This role will require a keen understanding of Boston College male undergraduate culture, as well as exemplary formational and administrative skills in the areas of program planning, supervision, and retreat preparation. The position will also supervise the Assistant Director and have indirect supervision of the other undergraduate programs within the Center.
