We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile engineer with a strong background in electromechanical, mechatronics engineering, and electrical engineering. This role involves sUAS development experience with software, hardware, and embedded systems to join our growing sUAS development team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about building next-generation drone platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate sUAS systems across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• Lead development and testing of flight control systems using PX4 and MAVLink protocols.
• Configure and optimize CUBE autopilot hardware and Ubuntu-based development environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DOD, government, and commercial UAS programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues.

Work Environment and Type

This position is 100% on-site at our headquarters in Baltimore County, MD (Sparks). The work environment includes an office setting with testing and flight control centers onsite, providing the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type : Contract to Hire (based out of Sparks, Maryland).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $57.00 / hr.
