TITLE : Master Tradesman-Master Repairer
DEPARTMENT : Maintenance-Plant Production-Union UAW Local 12
REPORTS TO : Operations Manager
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on machinery / equipment, inspections, and Lubrication.
- Alterations and new machine / equipment installations.
- Mechanical equipment troubleshooting, repair, parts replacement.
- Electrical (110V and 220V) troubleshooting and repair.
- Utilities distribution, in plant electrical-wiring, conduit, plumbing, piping, ductwork.
- Dust Collection Systems maintenance and improvements.
- General welding for fabrication, mig / tig / stick and torching.
- Use of maintenance equipment for repairs of fabrication.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Liquid and powder blending experience preferred.Proficiency Testing generally required for this position. Performs job duties associated with maintaining, repairing and improving manufacturing,Repairs and performs preventative maintenance on belts, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and mechanical seals.Troubleshoots and proof tests equipment as necessary to solve problems and proactively prevent them.Possesses strong working knowledge of electronic controls, sensors and basic PLC screen input commands as well as strong mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills experience.Has broad mechanical and power transmission systems repair and maintenance experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Daily routine will consist mostly of technical work with exposure to the production and laboratory environment, which may have some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, and atmospheric conditions. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator, must be worn in designated areas.Must possess the ability to perform physical activity, which includes lifting up to 55 lb., standing, walking up the stairs, sitting, manual dexterity, repetitive hand, and finger motion.About PMC Global, Inc :
