Pay Information

$35 to $42 per hour

About The Position

Job Title : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location : Arlington, MA, 02476

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day Shift | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM | 30-Minute Meal Break

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program .
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) .
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a COTA in a skilled nursing, rehab, or acute care setting (preferred).
  • Active BLS certification .

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the supervising Occupational Therapist in executing patient-specific treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and daily function.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising OT.
  • Instruct patients in adaptive equipment use, energy conservation techniques, and safe movement.
  • Encourage patients and families to participate actively in therapy and home programs.
  • Maintain treatment areas and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

    • Benefits

    Blended hourly pay : $42 / hr

    Weekly Stipend : $1,246 ($31.15 per hour)

    Weekly Taxable : $434 ($10,85 per hour)

    Weekly Gross : $1,680
