Position Summary
Reporting to the Administrator of Plaza San Juan, the Manager will directly manage people, processes, and programs within the site, ensuring the operational management of the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the organization. The Manager will assist with the operational management of the facility, maintain staffing schedules and provider templates, participate in interviews and hiring, serve as the Saturday administrator, take ownership of payroll functions for department associates, record and follow up on patient grievances, perform weekly inspections of the facility to assure policy and procedure compliance, report daily operational issues, ensure adequate supplies and equipment, maintain a clean and safe environment, and supervise and coordinate special projects.
Key Duties
- Ensures successful operations including registration, patient flow, and discharge.
- Directly manages specified employees in the department, providing leadership, guidance, support, and performance management.
- Helps maintain staffing schedules, provider templates, and other monthly planning.
- Participates in interviews, hiring, and all HR-related needs (performance management, employee relations, coaching).
- Serves as the Saturday administrator of the site.
- Takes ownership of the payroll functions for all associates in the department, including timesheet reviews, assessing corrections, and processing weekly payrolls.
- Records and follows up on patient grievances and provides updates to the administrator.
- Performs weekly inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.
- Identifies and reports daily operational issues including staff coverage and equipment malfunction.
- Ensures that adequate supplies and equipment are on hand to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the organization.
- Ensures that the facilities are maintained in a clean and safe manner for patients and staff.
- Assists with the supervision and coordination of special projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or other related field of study required.5 years of experience working in the healthcare sector in an operations position, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a manager with direct reports and clear supervisory responsibilities.Bilingual English / Spanish is required.Proven record and abilities focused on electronic health records.Excellent communicator and motivator.Starting Compensation
Minimum : $70,000 per annum; Maximum : $85,000 per annum.
