High Voltage Specialist - DPW

Under general supervision, an employee in this class is responsible for calibration, repair and maintenance of high voltage equipment. The incumbent inspects and evaluates the causes of equipment failures. Supervision may be exercised over Maintenance Mechanics and / or Instrumentation Technicians.

(b) Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and seven (7) years of experience in the installation, repair, maintenance or trouble-shooting of electronic, electromechanical or electrical monitoring equipment, including three (3) years of experience which must have been in the installation, repair, maintenance or trouble-shooting of high voltage equipment.
