Description
Foothill Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our telemetry / med-surge unit and provide compassionate, hands-on support to patients. The PCT assists with activities of daily living—including feeding, hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures—while maintaining each patient’s dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences. This role is responsible for assisting CNAs in observing and reporting changes in patient condition, and supporting licensed nurses with tasks such as specimen collection, patient transport, and repositioning. The ideal candidate ensures a clean, safe environment by following infection control and HIPAA standards, performs regular rounding to promote safety and satisfaction, and embodies Foothill Regional’s commitment to accountability, professionalism, and excellence in patient care.
This is a full-time, noc shift position. Schedule would consist of 3 12-hour shifts from 7 PM - 730 AM and would require working every other weekend.
