Additional Information About the Role BJH is hiring for a Mobile Equipment Tech Supervisor. Hours: M-Fri - 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Overview BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis, southern Illinois and southeast Missouri regions. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for managing daily operation of Sterile Equipment processing team including staffing, scheduling, and training. This position directs and supports sterile equipment processing staff to provide quality, efficient, cost-effective decontaminating, sterilization and distribution services with proper management quality, service and productivity levels. Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Collaborates with other departments to ensure the appropriate professional standards are consistently applied. Provides decontamination and sterilization evaluation planning, operations and maintenance consultation to management at BJC organizations. Assists or manages the operations of unit services and integration with other departments. May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
