Structural Drafter / Designer

Our client, the leading manufacturer of heavy-duty storage racks, and seeking an energetic Structural Designer / Drafter who is proficient in AutoCAD Inventor and 3-D model detailing.

Title : Structural Designer / Drafter

Industry : Steel fabrication / Heavy-duty storage racks for manufacturing and industrial applications

Location : Leola, PA

Pay / Duration : 25.00 - 30.00 per hour 6months contract to hire

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, CAD or a similar field of study.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor and all MS office programs.
• 3+ years of experience in design and drafting (preferably manufacturing).
• Understand the basics of steel fabrication including punching, fitting, sawing, and welding.
• Able to read weld symbols.
• Able to travel to customer job sites and provide field measuring services with tape measures, plumb bobs and lasers.
