Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent-Multifamily to join our team. As Traveling Superintendent-Multifamily, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of multifamily construction projects from start to finish.

This position requires travel to job sites in different locations. You will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, quality control, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

We are looking for a traveling superintendent to finish a multifamily project in Charlotte, NC and then work on other various projects around the area.

We have a strong backlog of multifamily and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage all activities related to respective projects.
  • Ensure all construction activities are performed in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Ensure project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track and manage project expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed and enforced.
  • Address customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Regularly inspect job sites to identify potential safety concerns.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as design and purchasing, to ensure project progress.
  • Update management on project progress, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily construction.
  • Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel to job sites in different locations.
