Technical Program Manager, Payload Development

HawkEye 360 is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the programmatic planning and execution for HawkEye's next-generation constellation payloads. This includes hands-on management of the spacecraft throughout the program lifecycle, from kick off through launch and operations. The TPM will serve as the central point of coordination between engineering, operations, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure mission success.

This role requires a deep understanding of complex aerospace systems, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver technical success on schedule and within budget.

As the Technical Program Manager, Payload Development, your main responsibilities will be :

• Own end-to-end program management of our next-gen constellation, including payload design, integration, test, launch, and operations.
• Develop and manage detailed program schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate across systems engineering, Assembly Integration & Test (AIT), software, and ground systems.
• Serve as the technical liaison between internal teams and external partners (launch providers, component suppliers, regulators, etc.).
• Identify and resolve technical risks, interdependencies, and integration challenges.
• Translate complex technical requirements into actionable program plans.
• Report program status, milestones, and risks to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Maintain alignment between engineering execution and business goals.
• Travel occasionally to launch sites (sometimes internationally) to support launch integration.

Base Salary Range : $120,000 - $160,000 annually HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
