The Role
Reporting directly to an Account Director for some of our top‑tier asset management clients, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our media team as a Senior Account Manager. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a vital role in planning and buying across all media channels, but primarily digital. Whether you are developing strategic recommendations, building strong relationships, innovating impactful solutions, or developing bespoke media plans or attending client meetings, it will be your excellent client management skills that ensures outstanding outcomes.
You should be passionate about both media and technology, digitally fluent, understanding the complexities of a fragmented media landscape and how best to deliver success. You and your team will work together to develop and execute outstanding integrated media strategies and programs.
Proven project management skills and client facing experience are a must – you’re known for your ability to absorb information, learn a business and drive change.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor for senior‑level client contacts, translating business objectives into innovative media solutions.
- Lead the development of multi‑channel media strategies integrating programmatic, social, search, and proprietary Fundamental platforms.
- Anticipate client needs by leveraging market signals, intent data, and competitor intelligence to proactively recommend opportunities.
- Oversee end‑to‑end campaign delivery for high‑value accounts, ensuring performance meets and exceeds KPIs.
- Drive creative problem‑solving for complex campaign challenges, balancing innovation with budget and compliance constraints.
- Identify and lead opportunities to expand scopes of work and grow revenue within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Business Development to contribute to pitch strategies and present at prospect meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, media owners, and technology providers.
- Mentor Account Managers and specialists, providing guidance on strategic thinking, client engagement, and campaign innovation.
Qualifications
4+ years of media planning / buying experience, with at least 2 years in a senior client‑facing role.Proven track record in strategic leadership for complex, high‑value accounts, preferably in asset management, financial services, or B2B sectors.Expertise in digital channels including programmatic, display, content marketing, social, and search, plus understanding of the investment management audience landscape.Demonstrated ability to solve complex challenges with innovative and commercially sound solutions.Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of influencing C‑suite stakeholders.Strong data interpretation skills and proficiency with media planning and analytics tools.Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, specifically Excel.Personal Attributes
