CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Power & Manufacturing - Environmental Team at any of the following office locations : Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, or Buffalo, NY; Hartford, CT; Atlanta or Duluth, GA; Norwell, MA; or Keene, NH.
We offer most employees the option of a hybrid schedule with both office and work-from-home days to help balance work and personal commitments.
What You'll Do
Better solutions start with a strong foundation. With decades of experience exploring a wide range of soil, bedrock, and groundwater conditions, CHA's geotechnical team ensures conditions are right for success. In this role you will provide advanced judgment and analysis techniques for the development, implementation, and technical analysis of geotechnical systems, tailoring solutions to client needs. You will plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed project phases independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff. You will mentor junior staff and provide technical review as needed.
You will recommend alterations to development and design to improve product quality and procedures, selecting proper processes to self-check your work for completeness and accuracy in technical reports and calculations. You will identify, develop, and gather technical resources necessary to complete assignments and constantly monitor progress and performance against the project work plan.

What You Bring
Salary Range
$84,500 – $102,000.
Salary is based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation.
