Reporting to the Applications Specialist Manager , the Senior Water Engineer- Semiconductor / Ultra Pure Water is responsible for serving as an internal technical consultant, using technical expertise and detailed industry knowledge to help solve customers' most critical business and operational needs. This role collaborates with sales, product management, marketing, and R&D to ensure our products meet customer requirements and drives growth in the targeted industry.

This position is part of the Applications Specialist team located in North America and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like :

Acting as a recognizedindustryexpert in Semiconductor and Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) markets.

Maintaining a highlevelofexpertise in allareasofapplications and associatedproductswithin Semiconductor and UPW markets.

Workingcloselywith sales and projectpursuitteamsto define go-to-marketstrategies.

Solvingcomplexcustomertreatment / monitoringproblems, deliveringefficiencies, optimization, and costsavings.

Providingkeymarketinsighttointernal sales, marketing, and businessunitgroupstofacilitatestrategicbusiness and marketing plans.

Contributingtoproductplanning and developmentbyprovidingvoice-of-customer and applicationinsight.

Developing sales collateral and application notes, and supportingproductsduringcustomervisits, tradeshows, and training programs.

Leadingpresentations at Hach-sponsored and nationalindustryseminars and conferences.

Deliveringorsupporting training programs as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include :

Bachelor'sdegree (BS) required; MS or PhD preferred. Degrees in Chemistry, Microbiology, EnvironmentalScience, Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Materials), orequivalent.

8-10 yearsoftechnicalapplicationsexperience in similar products and services.

Direct experiencemanagingordesigning UPW systems and criticalutilities.

Direct experienceorworkingknowledgeof semiconductor fabeconomics and bestpractices.

Direct customercommercial / sales / projectexperience.

Abilitytotravel up to 50% ofthe time, includingdomestic and internationaltravel.

Experienceoperating in global markets; Asia marketexperiencepreferred.

Validdriver'slicense and acceptabledrivingrecord.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
