Business Development Representative
Reports to : VP of Sales
Compensation : Salary range $80,000 to $110,000, plus bonus
Travel : 30%, some internationally
Korn Ferry has partnered with a leading provider of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This fast-growing, global company is looking for a curious and motivated Business Development Representative / Account Manager to join their sales team and be at the forefront of a rapidly growing industry.
Job Description
You will support all facets of sales, from funnel building, proposals, contracting and installation. You will be the primary contact for existing customers as well as responsible for developing new accounts.
A key focus of your role will be on building long-term business relationships and staying on top of the market trends.
Your profile
- Experience in generating proposals with a demonstrated track record of winning and delivering projects.
- Systematic approach to your work, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience in working in a customer-facing role as well as developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ideal background in renewable energy, EV charging, electric automotive manufacturing, or electricity generation and distribution.
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to understand technical concepts and processes.
- Loyal, dependable team player who demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, empathy, and passion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute and evaluate the sales activities within the area including conducting regular meetings with resellers partners, service providers and performance reviews.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and provide accurate forecasting.
- Support in building and establishing development of sales and marketing plans.
- Build and refine customer-facing proposals.
- Possess the ability to analyze data and to investigate the complete business situation.
- Develop new and existing key customer accounts and record progress on funnel growth in CRM
- Manage key customer relationships and create long-term sustainable business relationships across target verticals.
- Be the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the complete sales cycle.
- Develop and conduct presentations for tradeshows and customers.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure the objective service levels are delivered.
- Works cross-functionally when necessary to ensure that other company functions support and integrate into the sales process.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of sales or other commercial business experience.
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
