Safety Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Logistics & Safety Training Specialist for our client located in Nashville, TN. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about safety, training, and logistics. The role supports fleet operations and safety compliance across multiple facilities.

💼 Pay : $24–$26 / hour

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct new hire safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Train drivers on daily reporting procedures (vehicle inspections, hours of service, incident reports, etc.)
• Maintain compliance records for EPA, DOT, and OSHA
• Track and report Federal, State, and internal documentation
• Conduct facility inspections and evaluate safe work behaviors
• Provide administrative support to the Fleet Safety & Maintenance Manager
• Coordinate with vendors and location managers to ensure consistent training and scheduling
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to company policies
