Site Safety Coordinator (Bilingual)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project-Based Construction Safety Professional to oversee and implement all safety-related activities for specific construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and company safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety among all personnel on site. This role requires hands-on involvement and the ability to adapt safety programs to the specific needs of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions for project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; document findings, recommend corrective actions, and ensure follow-up.
• Collaborate with project management to integrate safety planning into project schedules and workflows.
• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, reports, and OSHA logs.
• Ensure emergency response plans are in place and understood by all personnel.
• Act as the primary safety contact on the project site, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to supervisors and workers.
