An editor for this team crafts mid-form stories geared toward digital audiences on a variety of platforms. Using content from 60 Minutes story shoots and archives, this teammate will help craft stories that are polished, smooth, and graceful. The ideal candidate will deeply engage with interviews and B‑roll, pitch creative ideas and executions, and understand and respect the styles and standards of 60 Minutes.

Responsibilities

• Edit additional story-related material for social media.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards for use of picture and sound.
• Consult with camera crews prior to shoots when needed.
• Work efficiently under deadline.
• Stay current with new recording formats and file delivery methods.
• Adhere to 60 Minutes media management and archiving policies.

Salary and benefits

Hiring Salary Range : $90,000.00 - 103,000.00. The hiring salary range applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on factors including geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or as otherwise dictated by applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
