Experience working in construction with a focus on safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of safety metrics reporting. Understanding of the project management process and construction agreement structures. Excellent communication, facilitation and problem solving skills.

In this role, you'll be crucial in supporting the EHS construction program and team. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional GDC teams and contractors to protect Google's interests. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying EHS programs and initiatives across a defined area. This means direct engagement with GDC partners, general contractors, electrical / mechanical trades, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve project EHS programs and performance. Your tasks will include pre-qualification evaluations of potential vendors, updating project manuals, and communicating EHS expectations. You'll establish and track performance metrics, develop and implement best practices, including lessons learned, and regularly report to stakeholders to help the organization scale efficiently. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities : Lead the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction oversight and data collection. Ensure that contractors deliver on Program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements providing timely solutions to issues. Monitor, advise and assist the construction project teams to protect people, environment and ensure compliance. Drive a culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies including goals and objectives. Liaise with the wider Construction EHS Team to ensure best practices are implemented, progress reported, trends and data captured, analyzed and risks mitigated.
