Position Summary : Perform accurate and thorough visual inspections and functional testing on all types of machinery and equipment.
Key Roles / Responsibilities :
- Verify equipment descriptions
- Gather and verify equipment inventory information
- Identify and record equipment components, accessories and asset details.
- Ensure the quality of equipment data and other related information.
- Verify requirements for warranty applicable items.
- Compose and take photos and videos of the equipment.
- Promote a culture where the health and safety of our employees and customers is top priority for all.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with the collections team to recover assets in default scenarios.
- Manage the resale or redeployment of repossessed equipment to maximize value and mitigate loss.
- Develop and maintain residual value metrics with various vendors across industry sectors and asset classes.
- Conduct foreclosure sales.
- 100% travel
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications :
High School graduate or equivalent.Mechanic experience preferred.Experience using computers, and able to learn to use new technology and software.Maintain a valid, clean driver’s license.Work both indoors and outdoors year-round and climb on and off large equipment and trucks.Prior experience in equipment management (inspections, inventory and appraisals) and / or inventory control management, preferably in the auction or heavy equipment business.Knowledge of industrial and / or agricultural equipment, trucks and trailers.Excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Solid interpersonal skills.Strong time management and prioritization skillsA commitment to providing fantastic customer service by being friendly and patient.Able to work well and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.Overnight travel could be up to 60% at times.Sensitive to confidential information.Must work independently and as a member of team.Working Conditions :
