Position : Battery Technician

Shift : 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM)

Pay Rate : $18.50 / hour

Job Description

As a Battery Technician , you will play a key role in the repair, refurbishment, and repurposing of hybrid and electric vehicle batteries. Working in a fast-paced team environment, you will support the production process by ensuring batteries are restored to optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspect and test incoming battery packs.
• Sort and organize materials as needed.
• Perform minor diagnostics to identify root causes of battery issues.
• Disassemble battery packs, separating components for recycling.
• Rebuild battery packs using calibrated tools, installing new parts (Arrays, BBM’s, BECM’s, etc.).
• Test rebuilt batteries using advanced cyclers and test stands to ensure proper functionality.
• Prepare and stage batteries for shipment.
• Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
