Education is important to us : You have a Bachelor's Degree with 6-8 years of experience.

Experience is important to us :

• Experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Aurora Postgres and DynamoDB in large-scale, enterprise environments.
• Strong skills with Bash Scripting, experience related to automation and line experience is required.
• Proficiency in database maintenance, patching, security best practices, connection protocols, troubleshooting, and backup / recovery strategies.
• Strong experience with database tuning, query optimization, and performance monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of microservices architectures and experience connecting databases to distributed systems.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation of database tasks (scripting, CI / CD pipelines).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and hands-on experience in managing databases in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do :

The DBA will work extensively with Amazon Aurora Postgres and Amazon DynamoDB, handling both the operational and developmental aspects of database management. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, maintaining high performance, and ensuring data security across complex, large-scale architectures.
