At Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital, we provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and has earned The Joint Commission’s Respiratory Failure Certification. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 20-bed hospital, we are a free-standing, long-term acute care hospital serving patients in Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska.
Nursing students may be eligible for level 3 career path pay by joining us as a Patient Care Tech!

Required Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
· certification preferred; certification required in SNF, SC setting.
· CPR Certification required
· One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred
Additional Qualifications/Skills :
· Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
· Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of Infection Control and proper body mechanics
· Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
· Utilizes policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
· Effective organizational and time management skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
· Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
· Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
