A company is looking for a Government Travel Consultant responsible for managing travel arrangements for government clients.
Key Responsibilities
Answer client inquiries and manage travel arrangements through multiple communication channels
Utilize a GDS system to book and issue airline, hotel, and car reservations accurately
Provide travel expertise and maintain knowledge of federal travel regulations and client needs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel, with government travel experience preferred
Experience using a GDS system, specifically Sabre
Understanding of federal travel regulations, including the Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement
Able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays
