As an R&D Process Engineer , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring new product designs are manufacturable, scalable, and built for long-term success.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop robust assembly methods, and lead technology transfer from development to production — driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Champion Manufacturability : Collaborate with internal teams and clients to embed manufacturability early in design and avoid costly late-stage changes.
Develop & Validate Processes : Create, document, and validate assembly processes that meet yield, efficiency, and quality goals.
Design Tooling & Equipment : Specify and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment that enable scalable production.
Lead Technology Transfer : Own the transition from development to production through training, documentation, and process qualification.
Partner Across Teams : Serve as a key liaison between R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure process readiness.
Drive Continuous Improvement : Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize workflows, reduce variability, and enhance product quality.
What You’ll Bring
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience : 3–5 years in manufacturing or process engineering (contract manufacturing preferred).
Technical Expertise :
Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with ISO , cGMP , and ISO 13485 environments preferred.
Skilled in statistical analysis , DOEs , and Minitab .
Attributes :
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High energy, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a sense of urgency.
Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and with clients.
