Provide executive level one on one support and assistance to General Counsel. This is a unique opportunity to develop and enhance relations across all Silver Ventures organizations as part of a new and growing legal department;

implement significant change, by focusing on process innovation, to increase efficiency and support organization’s commitment to critical business initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate key meetings, calls, maintain calendar, coordinate travel, process expense reports, follow-ups, and follow-throughs from internal and external communications.
  • Implement legal project and entity management system; Master user of Diligent Entities software (resources, workflows, electronic and physical files, templates, checklists, databases, and forms)
  • Finalize e-billing process implementation; assign invoices to appropriate entity and matters within ten (10 business days of receipt of invoice.
  • Track both requested and promised key deadlines for General Counsel.
  • Prepare daily preview to include upcoming calendar appointments and documentation for meetings.
  • Maintain files, prepare correspondence, open, and distribute incoming mail, packages, etc.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes and other necessary materials.
  • Produce, edit, and complete first drafts for written communications to stakeholders.
  • Independently screen and process incoming requests for the General Counsel.
  • Research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the General Counsel, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.

Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree

5 plus years providing C-level executive administrative support.
