Note : All Schedule Engine offices are currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. As of Jan 2021, we plan to reopen offices in early Q3 and will expect most employees to work onsite at least 3-4 days per week.

The Schedule Engine sales team is the driving force behind our growth and success.  We are built for contractors, by contractors and that origin story resonates with our target market.  The AE role is an evolving role for our sales organization.  Our AEs are true full cycle sales reps.  As an AE at Schedule Engine you'll be part of a highly driven and enthusiastic team. The AE team prospects, performs demos, and closes high quality partnerships with  prospective Schedule Engine customers.  Our AEs are the revenue machine in our business and a key driver for our success. We are looking for a competitive, customer obsessed, and analytical Account Executive. You’ll be working closely with our sales & marketing teams to identify future partners for B2B products and should be comfortable owning all stage(s) of the sales cycle, including prospecting. This role will report to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Pipeline Management. Utilize CRM and supporting tools to manage your pipeline from prospecting activities, to qualification meetings, to web demonstrations, to closed deals.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis. Accurately report and track sales activities and KPIs within CRM, Excel, and other supporting technologies.
  • Business Development. Build and maintain client and strategic partner relationships to exceed goals.
  • Competitive Analysis.  Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position.
  • Voice of the Customer. As a front-line, client-facing role, you will be responsible and expected to report feedback, trends and any other valuable information from field experience.
  • Team Management. Lead and work directly with a team of business development reps (BDRs) to consistently meet pipeline targets.
  • Execution. Meet goals, consistently hit targets, and exceed expectations.

  • Accountable. The ability and maturity to hold yourself accountable and not blame others for your shortcomings. Having the hindsight to analyze a situation and think through what you could have done better or differently.
  • Time Management. Work hard and work smart. Understanding how to properly prioritize tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Team-Oriented. You excel at collaborating across the company and helping those around you perform better.
  • Forward-Thinking. You are constantly looking for new and better ways to do things. You also follow trends in the market with an interest in what might come next.
  • Organized. Passionate about forecast accuracy and dedicated follow up skills that allow nothing to fall through the cracks.
  • Communicator. Powerful communication and interpersonal skills. Highly articulate via phone, email and in person is a differentiator, along with a positive engaged approach to working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners
  • Key Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of exceptional performance in full cycle outside sales role with high velocity sales
  • Consistent track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management best practices (cadence management, cold-calling, objection handling, etc.) and pipeline building process
  • Strong presentation skills and experience selling SaaS to owners and key decision makers in the home services and contracting space
  • Passion for the thrill of a close - this is a true high energy hunter position
  • Strong Salesforce experience required. Other Sales Enablement Tech Stack knowledge such as Outreach, Gong.io and others a plus.
  • Specific Requirements :

  • 10 % travel required
  • Must be authorized to work in US / Canada (no visa sponsorship / relocation)
  • Specific certifications or degrees (generally speaking, we do NOT require degrees, just years of experience, but there may be some exceptions) etc.
