Job description

Senior Technical Product Marketer

As a Senior Technical Product Marketer for NI's Semiconductor & Electronics business, you'll develop deep industry expertise and serve as a champion for NI's broad portfolio of test and measurement products across a wide range of semiconductor and electronics applications! This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of technology and storytelling-someone who can deeply understand complex products and translate that knowledge into compelling narratives that resonate with customers, sellers, and internal collaborators!

You'll collaborate with product management, R&D sales, and marketing teams to translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer-centric messaging, and create compelling sales enablement marketing content that is platform aligned and industry informed. This position requires strong technical skill, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for evangelizing innovation with audiences of all levels of business and technical acumen.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Develop and articulate clear, differentiated product messaging tailored to diverse customer needs and market trends within semiconductor and consumer electronics industries.
  • Create messaging frameworks and technical marketing content that support a broad range of applications from semiconductor ICs to fully integrated electronics devices, and from design validation to high-volume production and reliability test.
  • Work with product management and R&D to translate product roadmaps and technical capabilities into market-ready messaging.
  • Support sales enablement through training, tools, and customer-facing collateral that simplify complex technologies.
  • Partner with field marketing and sales to support account-based marketing strategies and events.
  • Identify and amplify customer success stories to showcase real-world impact and drive credibility.
  • Gather customer and market insights through interviews, surveys, and event participation to inform marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with integrated marketing teams to implement digital campaigns, webinars, white papers, and technical presentations.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and partner with sales to refine tactics and address gaps.
  • Act as a vocal advocate for NI's platforms internally and externally, representing the voice of the product in strategic conversations.

For This Role, You Will Need :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or related roles within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and related test equipment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing content and strategies.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, account-based marketing, and content creation.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to contribute to cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in working with multifaceted cultures & countries, as part of a global organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills required.
  • Travel : Some domestic and international travel could be required on an irregular basis (~10-20%).

    Our compensation philosophy is simple : we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
