Director of Aftermarket Sales

Director - Aftermarket Sales Wichita, KS Our client is a US based medium sized company that was founded over 50 years ago. They are considered the pre-eminent provider of components for the global aerospace community. They do all of their design manufacturing here in the United States. They are located in a small city with a college town environment. Low cost of living / high quality of life area. They don't have a lot of organizational layers to foster more open and easier top to bottom and bottom to top communications. They schedule fun events throughout the year outside of work for their team members. As the Director of Aftermarket Sales, you'll be responsible for managing revenue growth and customer satisfaction along with business development of the aftermarket sales and support markets. We're looking for someone with a BS - in Business, a minimum of 5 yrs of sales management and leadership / supervisory experience, a minimum of 10 yrs of aviation / aerospace experience in business development, customer support and / or program management and a comprehensive knowledge of the aviation aftermarket ecosystem (spare, repairs, MRO, support services). Hands on experience with CRM software. Proven negotiation and marketing skills. Experience negotiating and administering long term contracts. An FAA pilots license would be a plus, but not required. Salary range is; $140 - 180k. Travel is 50 - 70% annually. Position is on site in Wichita, KS. (remote or hybrid is not an option). Relo assistance is available.
