Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Location : Bethesda, MD or Washington, DC

Hire Type : Direct Hire (Benefits + $10K Sign-On Bonus, H1B Sponsorship Available)

Salary : $150K–$175K

Schedule : Hybrid (Remote 2 Days / First Month Onsite for Training)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial markets.

Job Duties :

Lead engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems

Conduct existing building surveys and document existing HVAC systems

Develop system design calculations and equipment selection

Write / edit project specifications

Conduct code compliance research

Coordinate across disciplines to ensure project success

Provide construction administration services

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

8–10+ years of experience (healthcare, education, or commercial preferred)

PE License (or actively pursuing PE)

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Experience with Trace 700, Manual J, or similar program
