Expected hours : This job has typical construction hours, meaning some weeks might require less than 40 hours, while others could require 50+ hours. We're a 24 / 7 operation, so you must be ready for anything.
Travel : Must be willing to travel for short periods of time as needed
Work Environment :
- Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and noisy environments
Physical Demands :
Be able to work extended hours and variable shiftsBe able to wear all required PPEBe able to climb ladders and work from stationary platforms from elevated heightsConfined Space Entry may be required to accomplish tasks for some clientsMust be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 poundsEssential Functions :
Drive to assigned job sites to excavate, load, dig, break rocks or debris, dirt, or other materialsOperate hydrovac equipment to excavate underground utility lines, pipelines, and other structuresOperate Safe Site equipment in a safe and professional mannerMaintain hydrovac truck and equipment to ensure they are in good working conditionAssist in all cleaning operations to ensure the hydrovac operates at maximum capacityMonitor and maintain water levels in the hydrovac tankEnsure compliance with safety regulations and proceduresCommunicate with team members to ensure efficient operationsPerform pre- and post-trip inspections on the hydrovac truck and equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctionsComplete job site documentation and paperwork accurately and timelyMaintain a clean and organized job siteCleaning, vacuuming, mobilization, and maintenance of equipmentAttend training sessions and safety meetings as neededRequirements :
Class B CDL required with Airbrake and Tanker EndorsementPass a pre-employment physicalPass a criminal background check and safety performance verificationPass a pre-employment drug screenPrevious hydrovac experienceKnowledge of and comply with DOT RegulationsPreferred :
Underground utility and / or construction experience12 months of Heavy Equipment Operation experiencePrevious trucking, vacuum truck or other related industrial experienceBenefits :
