This position is school based, working on site within a small private special education day school.
Estrella Day School is a private special education school located in Goodyear, Az. We are currently seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to join our existing team of friendly teachers and learning coaches.
We are a growing school who specialize in providing individualized instruction for each student. We make research-based decisions along with an ABA and Therapeutic approach to enhance our student's education and quality of life.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (includes but not limited to) :
- Provide direct or virtual services based on the students' individualized needs and educational plan, goals, and objectives.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, annual education plans, quarterly progress reports, behavior plans, and incident reports.
- Provide ongoing data collection and assessment reporting.
- Develop and maintain professional relationship with parents / caregivers through daily communication along with students, staff, and administrators.
- Provide supervision and direction to classroom learning coaches.
- Demonstrate knowledge of related subject matter, behavior intervention techniques, specialized curriculum, and resource materials.
- Work collaboratively with learning coaches, administrators, and therapists to ensure mastery level success for each individual student.
- Physically able to assist in behavior management, physical transports, and lifting as needed to help meet student limitations and ensure safety of students.
