Job descriptionProvide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software / product support to customers. Leverage your tax expertise to deliver accurate solutions in personalized everyday language. Educate and communicate confidently with customers about tax-related topics. Build relationships with customers by demonstrating understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns. Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, genuine interest, and empathetic listening skills. Possess active, unrestricted credentials : EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws. Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes. Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230. Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location. Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills are a plus. Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing. Passionate about empowering customers and helping them overcome the complexities of taxation. Entrepreneurial and self-driven with a business ownership mindset to grow your customer portfolio. Exceptional customer service skills, high empathy, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently while managing multiple priorities. Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM / sales tools.
