Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers, FL is looking for a Sales Account Associate. This entry level position is designed as a training program for candidates with the desire and ability to excel as a media advertising executive but who lacks the experience required. As a Sales Account Associate, your focus is to learn all facets of local linear and digital television sales in preparation of becoming an Account Executive for Hearst Television's Gulf Coast NBC / ABC. All sales team members, led by the Local Sales Manager, will contribute to your training and ultimate success. You will report to the Director of Sales.

Training

• Comprehensive 9-12-month training, with ongoing career development and opportunities through Gulf Coast News
• Learning industry-leading communication and sales techniques
• Train with top sales producers
• Learn software skills such as WideOrbit Traffic and Media Sales, Media Monitors, Marshall Marketing, and other sales platforms
• Learn and work with Nielsen research data
• Roleplay and practice presentations regularly
