In Houston, TX, your day starts on the production floor—work orders in hand, blueprints open, and a CNC machine ready for your expertise. You’ll set up the job, dial in tooling, load programs, and verify offsets to produce parts that meet exacting specifications. As cycles run, you’ll keep an eye on performance, make smart adjustments, and verify quality so every component meets company standards.

A Day in the Role

You review technical drawings and work orders, prep the machine for the run, and conduct a careful first-article check. Throughout the shift, you monitor operations, troubleshoot alarms or variances, and complete routine maintenance to keep equipment performing at its best. You finish by documenting results, inspecting final parts for accuracy and finish, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. Along the way, you collaborate with teammates to streamline steps and boost throughput.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to guide each setup and operation.
