📋 Unit Info

Unit Type : Emergency Department

Beds : 9 rooms

Volume : ~30 patients per 24-hour period

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : Varies depending on acuity

Charting System : EPIC

Other Systems : Pyxis, Hospira pumps, Phillips monitoring

📅 Schedule

Shift : 5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM (12-hour nights)

Schedule : 3x12s per week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Start Date Target : May 28 – this will be the RN’s first shift on the unit

🧠 Orientation & Training

EPIC training, etc.

Schedule :

Week 1 : Monday–Friday (8-hour days)

Week 2 : Monday–Tuesday (8-hour days)

Mandatory Attendance : All 7 days of orientation are required

✅ Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience

EPIC documentation experience preferred

📑 Required Certifications

BLS / CPR (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

PALS

TNCC & ENPC – preferred but not required
