About the Position

This position supervises and guides the daily operations of the Real Estate Department's Infrastructure Property Management Division (IPM). IPM provides infrastructure real estate services to the Flood Control District and the Department of Transportation. This work includes overseeing excess land sales, leasing of property, negotiating and processing easements, rights of entry, and Intergovernmental Agreements. In addition, the IPM Supervisor is responsible for coordinating right-of-way permit reviews, land rights land research, as well as the review of title reports, appraisals, and other real estate documents. This work is accomplished by collaborating with various public entities, including local municipalities, utility companies, and state / federal agencies.

The Maricopa County Real Estate Department RED works in partnership with County departments and public agencies to manage property for infrastructure / transportation projects, secure leased space for operations, and oversee the sale and management of excess property. The department is responsible for maintaining real property, lease, and agreement data in an extensive real estate database.
