Overview:As a Critical Care Tech you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician. While in this position you will be responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. You will place orders, receive & stock supplies for the department/unit, and assist support staff with filing, medical records and daily tasks as assigned.

At Penrose Hospital, an achieved Magnet hospital, the Emergency Department consists of 31 beds and cares for 100 patients per day. We are a Level II trauma center and a Primary Stroke Center, with a patient mix of pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Our department has a mission to save lives through timely patient-centered emergency care driven by educational innovation and practice-changing research, and improved health outcomes for patients of all ages through influential research and education.
